Comma - I think that's one of boxings great unanswered questions, Stevenson was just awesome, was it three golds on the spin he won?

He must have been under so much pressure to defect and make his millions but I guess he loved Cuba too much!

I remember watching some of our boys fighting in the olympics against Russians and Cubans who had had 100’s of fights whilst our amateurs tended to be 18-21 year old kids.
Stevenson was good but to be honest he had over 300 fights and was mainly fighting kids, and he also lost 20 odd times was well. I’m sure if some of the average heavyweights who turned pro had stayed as an amateur they would have had similar records
